After being postponed due to the pandemic, The Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) returns to the National Building Museum in DC from March 24-26th. The unique Louisiana Channel portrait of Dorte Mandrup 'Another Kind of Knowledge' - which is shaped by her own conversations - will be the closing night film on March 26th. After the film Dorte Mandrup will join director Marc-Christoph Wagner on stage for a conversation and Q&A with Kyle Bergman, Founder and Director of ADFF.

Following the screening in DC, ADFF will host a special screening in New York on March 29th at the SVA Theatre. On this night, Dorte Mandrup will take part in a conversation before the film.

'Another Kind of Knowledge' is the result of a conversation that began in 2017, where Dorte Mandrup unfolds the cornerstones of her practice - predicated on the synthesis of place, history, materiality and the sculptural - resulting in a consistent articulation of the contemporary.
