In the historic city of Varese, where designing in harmony with nature has been a reality since the 18th century, Dorte Mandrup was invited to talk about just that. Designing for the world’s irreplaceable places has given us comprehensive knowledge on how to work with care and awareness of our common world heritage.

At the event Thinking Varese in the beautiful Villa Panza, Dorte Mandrup talked about the site-specific conditions, which inspired the creative process behind our five UNESCO-projects and our latest spectacular-nature-related-project, The Whale.
