In the middle of a residential area in Gentofte lies a modern-day Villa Villekulla! A place for young people to be inspired and indulge their interests and passions. Combined with brand new sports facilities, the Youth Recreation, Sports & Culture Centre merges seamlessly in with the surrounding villas – as the newest kid on the block!
Read more ↓The centre is a mixed use complex containing several different institutions, communities and individual users. Cross-programming was ensured through workshops and games with future users – by asking adults as well as children.
The building is situated in a residential area in a northern suburb of Copenhagen, predominately consisting of large villas from the turn of the 20th century. Downscaling the centre to the surrounding villas resulted in a natural division of the facilities into four houses, joined by the common sports facilities.
