According to studies, white is the colour most often associated with perfection, honesty, cleanliness, beginnings, the good, the new, and exactitude. If this truly is the case, Dorte Mandrup’s white beacon in Trekroner lives up to expectations.
Read more ↓Two differently curved buildings embrace the landscape and evoke an organic connection between landscape and building. The white facades appear as graphic wallpaper and are complemented by a tapestry of blossoming white trees such as cherry, star magnolia, and apple.
The buildings are structured as stacked townhouses. The lower floor consists of one-storey townhouses and the first floor constitutes two-storey houses with inner staircases to an offset floor, providing a double height space in the relatively small residences.
